| I spent this evening getting ready for Monday's TestingTesting. Our special guest is going to be Griffith Baily Coale, my Grandfather. Actually my Grandfather died in 1952 but he wrote a couple of books about his experiences as a Navy combat artist. I will be reading selections from one of the books - North Atlantic Patrol.
He wrote two books and there are also extensive notes detailing his experiences during WWII. I have been putting these up on a web site - Griff's Story. I have North Atlantic Patrol and most of Victory at Midway up with some of his drawing and paintings. When I get another scanner I will get back to adding more. |
