| It was a laborious Labor Day weekend. While spending a lot of time working (the small town web developer knows no holidays) time was spent on non-work too.
Katie and Mike were here this weekend. Zoe and I took them to lunch at Mike's Place in Langley on Saturday. The usual family fare. But Mike's place has *real* strawberry shortcake. Not only do they use real strawberries but they use real shortcake. Not that silly foam stuff that we see so often but real buiscuitty shortcake.
Yum! Yum!
Then it was off to Freeland Park to let Mike play.

Three adults following a 2 year old around a park. The great secret about having kids, or grandkids, is that it gives the adults an excuse to climb on the park toys and slide down the slides too. No reason the kids should have all the fun.
