The picture is titled Tank Girl. Robby took it. They both moved out Sunday.

The last few weeks has been crazy. Lots of work (a customer that moved the date of her new shopping cart site up from Jan 1 to Dec 1), the roller coaster in Florida, and an energy vortex in the shape of a 22 month old girl named Robyn (my granddaughter). Her mom, Jenny, is in Germany as a Private First Class and single mom. We are trying to get Robyn over with her but Robyn needs a nanny for child care while over there. Enter NannyMan! My son Robby just graduated from High School and is taking care of her and we are working on getting him over to Germany with Robyn.

Robby has been great with Robyn. The black baseball cap and goggles are Robby's and he wears them all the time. He was playing with Robyn by putting the goggles and hat on her.

Katie (my middle daughter) just got her own apartment in Tacoma and Robby and Robyn moved down with her, and her son Michael. They will stay with Katie until they join Jenny in Germany. I am missing them both.

The Florida Supreme Court released it's opinion. They came down on the side of the vote. The Court quoted from a 25 year old Florida Supreme Court decision:
The right to vote is the right to participate; it is also the right to speak, but more importantly the right to be heard.
Bush talks about the will of the people but the Republicans have never believed it. They only want to keep votes from being counted. We are watching history.

Within a half hour of the release of the opinion I had a copy downloaded from the web (see link above). It would have been sooner but the Florida server was totaly overloaded and I got a copy from CNN. Who would have thought that so many people would want to read a legal document?

13 Myths About the Results of the 2000 Election
I've been watching way to much CNN lately but this Presidential election is *big* history in the making. This page takes away some of the spin whirling around the talking heads. This whole election is just way too much fun. Watch them squirm! Watch them twist! But, most of all, watch them spin!

Nader gives Florida and the election to Bush.

The Country Joe archive of the show at WICA on TestingTesting will be up tomorrow. Country Joe (of Country Joe and the Fish) ended his concert with the Fish cheer.

So, in celebration of shrub's apparent victory, let's give a good old fashioned Fish cheer.

Country Joe McDonald is coming to TestingTesting. Actually TestingTesting is coming to Country Joe. Skip Demuth is a Whidbey Islander who is an old friend of Country Joe's. He has had Country Joe over to the Island before. I had the pleasure of seeing Country Joe twice at the Back of the Dog (the restaurant behind the Dog House Tavern, the living room of Langley). This time Skip has booked him at Whidbey Island Center for the Arts and this is where Monday's TestingTesting will be broadcast from.

The show will open with a local band (Local Buddha) and a local singer/songwriter (Barbara Dunn.) It is the night before the elections so local politicians running for office will be there too. Country Joe doesn't look back to the past, he continues to write songs that deal with current issues.
