Fine Lines by Andrew Sullivan
The salient question behind the "drug" war, then, is not simply the usual libertarian-authoritarian conundrum. It's much simpler: What is the criterion that makes one drug the object of a "war" in which millions are incarcerated for illegal use and another drug the object of a vast marketing machine through which millions are regularly sold to and hooked?

Good question.

It's done! It's done! It's done! WhidbeyStore.com finally takes credit cards. I'm not only the site web monkey but also it's proprietor so it's great to have the site up and working after a redesign and moving to a new server and having to relink everything (end of responsibility of web monkey and beggining of responsibility of proprietor).

Small town webguys get no vacation. Spent the *holiday* finishing a redesign of WhidbeyStore.com which I goes live in the next few minutes and hopefully everything works. If not I will be busy. Also up late doing a web site for Club Ded. Another musical production from South Whidbey's resident lunatic Richard Evans. Not to be missed!
