| Isn't there any one else who was as upset as I was during last night's debate at how Obama did not talk about getting the troops out NOW, and /or how to shore up the military so that our troops do not have to go back into harms way over and over again without enough time off home to connect with their families, and decompress, and do the mundane work around their homes to center themselves so that they aren't so fatiqued and /or stressed that their reaction time and perspective may not be as sharp as it should be? 15 months in Iraq, 8-12 months home, 15 months in Iraq, 8-12 months home, 15 months in Afghanistan...this is unacceptable, inhumane and torture. Barack won the primary largely to the fact that he NEVER voted for the "war" in IRAQ; tha first blank check, and his saying he'd get the troops home ASAP! I don't hear that man talking anymore, especially at the debate last night. Isn't anyone else upset and wondering about this change of plan or idealism? Another thing that makes no sense to me, is no one is listening to their constituents about no BAILOUT!
If you must give money, give it to the people to help defray the costs of their Mortgages [EXCEPT for the one's who obviously were gambling and /or "flipping" the house -- they knew that going in that there were risks] for a time so that they can get their feet back on the ground...or maybe a slice of the money to shore up the tons of 401ks that may suffer substantially because of the mess..the money that "average people" [their term, not mine] worked hard to sock it away for their retirement? Why are these people who are supposed to represent US not doing that in such a flagrant blatant way? I'M SHOUTING HERE YOU GUYS -- I'VE WRITTEN Y'ALL (personally), SIGNED PETITIONS, and seen the numbers of others who have signed the same petitions, AND YOU ARE NOT DOING AS WE HAVE ASKED! What are these people thinking?
