The decks and cockpit floors are plywood coated on the back with WEST System epoxy resin, and screwed and bonded with Sikaflex to the framing. The seams are backed and have a double bias fiberglass tape before sheathing with 6 oz. cloth and WEST System epoxy. All outside corners are bias taped prior to sheathing. The WEST System-6 oz. fiberglass deck sheathing is painted with Awlgrip paint system for a maintenance-free, easily cleaned, and durable surface.
